Description:
Here is a small mod that adds heretic isadore from dow to the chaos as well as traitor guardsmen,

Heretic Isadore
-changed name to Traitor Librarian
-added new abilities
-corruption
-chains of torment
-chaos hellstorm (orbital bombardment just renamed) requires deamon pit to activate
-can be possessed by the bloodthirster

Traitor guardsmen
-added leader, aspiring champion
-integrated heavy weapons into tech tree (heavy weps require armory etc)

i can add AI, pretty easy (i took that screenie from my past mod, the heretic guardsmen) if i release a updated version theyd have AI and a few more units...

Is there anyway to make the metamap just two races, like whatever race you want to play against say Orks to simulate cleansing a system, I have asked this question a couple times to various people but received no reply. This would do well for making knew campaigns and storylines. Great MOD too, since your Taitor Guard MOD was an idea I was wondering about as well and then you went and did it ! smile

if what you are suggesting is making a entirley new meta map dont wate time it has beaten most if not all of the people doing it i belive kingdoms succeded?


however if you do whish to make a campain the Hourus Herasay mod found a way to by pass the meta map screen straight to the skirmish one... how? not a clue and im unsure if the team is sharing there information =)


OR super Simply you can do maps and one the name put:

Mission1frownmapname)
mission2frownmapname)
and so on

this way no tricky modding people can tell which order there ment to play in simplist way i can think of but a bit sloppy. unless youre a GOD of coding or have a friend who did relics meta-maps then im a afraid youre doomed to that. That is of course unless he is restrained by law not to do that...


On Topic: this adds a Evil Librain like the Original DOW campain and uses the WA guardmen texture and gives them to chaos? Correct? if so are the stats the same as the loyalist conter parts. and do we get to see some evil looking guardmen? notheless ill DL and find out my self

I'm afraid this is not true.

1)the Darkness Within DC/SS linear campaign mod did it, i know it because i'm the mod co-leader. and we are the only ones to have achieve it afaik....knowledge will be released alongside our mod.

2)the Horus Heresy single player campaign mod is DEAD since a few monthes now.

for those looking for reliable data about DC linear and metamap campaigns check the RN forums.

i apologize for the off topic disgression.

@maxxta : you have to use restric_abilities for squad-sgroup SCAR function set or the fucntion asociated with the scar button manager. if you go single player it wont be too complicated, if your aiming at multiplayer maps scar button related fucntions trigger sync errors, because they deal with local machine parameters.

that's quite unprecise .... if you mean that you want your traitor librarian model to use the chaos sorceror doombolt and to have the same ANIMATION then you will have to make the animation in 3Dmax,( that mean making a new librarian model ).i can't help you on this topic, i'm not an animator.

no, no, no, i mean how the AI uses the abilities wen it noes its the rite time ya? sorry i was a bit unprecise. i made the AI able to MAKE the units and upgrade them with weapon upgrades etc, but if they have any abilities they dont use them, thats wot i want to do... my librarian has like 4 abilities but at the moment the AI just makes him run up to u and wack u with a stick wch is kinda uneffective...
