Assault On Grovengar (1.1) - File Description  


Description:
Assault on Grovengar is an 8 player skirmish/multiplayer map. The map contains 2 main bases, both accommodating 4 armies. These 2 are linked by one thin valley, with ridges either side that units can traverse across if they are teleported/drop podded up there. The author notes that this map is intended for the 'space marine' side (players 1-4) to attack the 'chaos' side (players 5-8) but it doesn't really matter. One thing that can be said about this map is that it has a very thin valley for over a total of 8 players to travel their armies across, creating some pathway problems for some units - especially when vehicles are introduced.

Posts: 3 		Fair point bean, its still fun with bots, but ultimately i aim for it to be played with 8 human players , i may release a 1v1 map though.....

Posts: 7 		this is kinda off subject of this map but, how cool would it b to hav a map of earth? ive been waitin ages for one and havent seen any, i know fuggles made a risk map, but yea, im just throwin ideas out there for ppl to make stick out tongue if anyone knows of an earth map, let me know plz. btw, this is an awesome map man! great work!!

Posts: 108 		I like idea of Earth being battlefield, and also if Earth is going to be a map I would suggest setting it up sorta like the DC Campaign where each section has its own map.(sounds complicated)
Set it up for online mulitiplayer U R GOD!!!!!!

Posts: 105 		How about just starting out with a few countries first and check the response to them, before doing Earth??? also, if you make earth, please incorporate Denmark (north of germany, find it in an atlas)
