Description:

Version 1.0 of Chaos Renegades.

A debased guard legion that has thrown it's lot in with the gods of chaos, and slowly slides decedance.

It's a based on the guard race slowly introducing more chaotic elements as time progresses.

Fixed the art files to address the colour bleed, and adjusted the units and balance somewhat.

Well I loaded up this mod and it has a lot of issues...The main commander squad cannot train any units at all (psykers, priest, or enforcers) and the enforcer is greyed out. Enforcer is no where to be seen in temple, can have an unlimited number of Ogryns and "Warp Beast." The Heavy Weapons Team is a pink box, but once camped up, it shows them.

As for the renegade psyker, awesome. Fits right in. But for now I think I'm going to stick with the older version instead. Sorry man.

er, bit confused by the heavy weapons team, I've got that fine, but will re-include the art files in a patch (tomorrow, then however long it'll take to get approved). Oh, unless your running it under a mod that has changed the guard heavy weapons dudes...

Sorry, schoolboy error on the enforcer, easy fix for that. The ogryns were intentionally unlimited (no reason to be the same as the guard, and it helps the AI be more challenging), but i'll compromise and limit to 3 of each.

post anything else you notice, then I'll bang a patch out. Soz about schoolboys, but easiest way to fix is with good info smile

Lol heeeey its ok, we all have our good and bad days. Ahhh so the Ogryn are like that, I see now! But a limit of 3 works due to balance and what not. I'm going to mess around with it to see if I can get it to do what I need it to do.

Also on your Codex mod, I was able to take a Chaos Terminator model from "Lights of the Warp" (an older mod from DC) and overwrite the older model. Because even though the model is not team colorable, the random use of chain fist and chain axes, alone with having "no helmet" models mix in and be all randomized just makes it more interesting. Basically I kind of made them more assault type terminators since we have the obliterators.

But hey I'm gonna mess around with Renegades and see what I can get. I haven't tried Daemons yet, but you should def. check out the D(a)emons mod on the relic forums. There is a giant purple chick in on of the vids! Cheers!
