Concrete Jungle (Final) - File Description  


Description:
Prepare to pollute thine britches with delight! Concrete Jungle has finally been finished! Now with extra homeless people. big grin So yeah I started this map with a simple idea. A while back before DC came out someone had proposed the question has anyone made any true Hive World maps. So I began making the closest thing the ME would let me accomplish to a Hive World map. The end result is a monstrous map that is only 1v1 for a reason. A gigantic urban style map that really gives you the feeling of being IN the battle. The lag isn't that bad I've play-tested it a couple of times and it only seems to lag when the camera angle is lowered.
So head downtown and kick some ass, but don't take the subway, it's busted and tell your video card's children that poppa won't be coming home from the front lines today.

To install:

Place the 'loading' folder and files:

Concrete Jungle.sgb
Concrete Jungle.tga
Concrete Jungle_custom_icon.tga
Concrete Jungle_icoc.tga
Concrete Jungle_mm.tga

in your

C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War\WXP\Data\scenarios\mp
dir

And place the:

URBAN_ROAD_MANHOLE.dds

in your

C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War\W40k\Data\art\Decals\urban
dir

And place the:

z_grate.dds

in your

C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War\WXP\Data\Art\Decals\BrBurns

And place the:

URBAN_PAVERS04.dds

Thanks to Tave for the z_grate.dds decal and hangar-8 for the URBAN_ROAD_MANHOLE.dds decal and relic for all the other decals in this game... and for the game too for that matter. Hey guess what. I'm drunk.

Enjoy the map. Hope it doesn't kill your grafix card. I'munna go finish watching House of 1000 Corpes and pass the fuck out now.
