	Readme File: Zhou_kai - Zhoukai181@googlemail.com Hello, Zhou Kai (aka Dan Snowdon) here again. This is my first skin, so no evil comments please. Right, so anyway, I felt that space marines would look cool with a cyclops visor, so I created a skin using my idea. The visor is team colourable using Trim 2, and the eagle has been made perma-gold. Tell me what you think, and if you can, give me a few ideas on what to make next. I have a load of spare time on my hands. Contains 1 .wtp file Extract the DXP2 folder to your Dawn of war - Dark crusade folder.

As for the color, im almost certain that in the fluff of W40K, single lens visors such as this one were of... duller color. In fact, i havnt heard of any "cyclops" lens's. but then, this is not based on w40k fluff, but just for coolness factor.

As for that. i like it. but you should go through and see if u can remove that little bit of shadow/light that shows where the eye pieces would have been if they werent painted over in green.

but yea, nice work. lookin for updates big grin

#1 there probably is a chapter that uses one lense visors out of the thousands that there are in the universe.

Osiris, there are several flaws with your idea there. For one, the only things that get made by the ad mech on mars are made from things called STCs (Standard Template Constructs) and they never build anything else. It's all they're allwed to do. So unless they'd found an STC that shows a single-lens visor, they'd never build it.
Also, nitpicking now, but there are roughly 1000 space marine chapters. Nobody knows how many there are, but there aren't many more than 1000, so thousands is an innacurate statement!
Bah, I'm such a 40k nerd...

As for the skin, it's a cool idea and executed well, but it's not my cup of tea.

i agree with #4 it really has a robo cop feel,this skin of "robo cop"(its cool to call robo cop) make the space marines appear even more like robots which only respect the emperor and crush any force in his way,or something like this.

To #7 - we dont need a lecture about STCs, althougth what you say is correct, this is a mod for a game that doesn't (as far as im concerned) affect fluff in any way. Besides, older versions of power armour probably used cycloptic leses (im thinking of Heresy and pre-heresy era armour that can be seen in artwork - some of them look like they could be this sort of shape)

#10 is right ,I do beleve ive seen single lense visors befor in art work of the horus heresy, so in a way it is true to fluff

I do not care for SM, but I am here to review the skin, not the army you made it for (would be nice to see other army skins) but this is very cool, never would have thought about it, but it makes them look less like the army I seriously dislike, and more like robots

there actually are "cyclops lenses" they are seen on spacemarine scout models. it is usually used on the sergeant of the scout squad. so it isn't trully fluff

I think you should attempt to make a choas skin because I love playing chaos, but there aren't really any skins that I like for them right now... I don't know what type of skin... but even if you made one, that would make my day and a imeadiate dl Pimp!

this looks like a simple mod but effective in making the sm that much cooler and the fact that u can cloour the eyes, also which BnB pack is that?

im so *****ing confuzed cos when ever i try to extract it to the disk it dont work! it asks for a password...any ideas people? other than that it looks like a good idea, a freind of mine had the same idea as well! great minds think alike!
