Fort Assault - File Description  


Description:
This map is designed such that take-and-hold missions are ideal. A large riverbed separates oncoming forces from defensive forces as players 1 and 2 attempt to conquer player 3 and 4's fort.

This is a 2v2 4 player map for Winter Assault where you & Player2 have to attack an Imperial fort (hence the stupid name) which Players3&4 have to defend.

It can probably be used as a take-and-hold mission because the critical location is in the center of the map (see screenshots).

The Story:
Years ago after the reclaimation of the planet by imperial forces they decided to build a (seemingly) impenetrable fortress on the planet to ensure the planet
would never fall into hostile hands again. The fort was built along the banks of a large river that splits the planet in two. Following the second Xenos invasion
Imperial Commanders were confidant that the fort could withstand the threat so they sent only a small regiment of inexperienced troops to reinforce the garisson.
However, unknown to the Commanders a recent drought has dried up parts of the great river & it is passable in certain areas...

I decided to take a break from making maps for only Imperial players & this is the result. Let me know if its a hit.
