Kydno Mod (1.2) - File Description  


Description:
Here is a new version of Kydno Mod that adds new units, and tweaks more units from each side!

Kydno Mod is a basic mod that perhaps is a bit unbalanced, but damn fun. The author mainly has now tweaked every side from the Dark Crusade game. The Necrons now have a new way of approaching the battlefield. If you spawn one unit, that unit can create an entire army...so basically you have your own little regiments. As for the Imperial Gaurd, the author took his own idea from the "Dawn of Suck" mod (Which he is also known as DDman465) and kind of gave it a little kick in this one. Also, not to spoil anything but the Space Marines have a new unit called the "The Emperor"...interesting right? The author uses Corsix Mod Studio at the moment, and asks if anyone knows of another modding program please tell me.

All content is created by me. This mod is pretty balanced compared to my last release, AI has been enhanced to take full advantage of the new units. Although Im having trouble with with coding the AI into using the new buildings.



Installation: Simply put the 2 files (Kydno folder and Kydno.module) in the default DoW Dark Crusade folder

***Guard***

- Basilisk name changed to "Devastator"
- Devastator fires projectiles at a rapid rate
- Devastator damage reduced
- Devastator limited to 2 **NEW**
- Baneblade fires mini nuke shots
- Baneblade battle cannon has a 12 second reload, use this time to send in melee units
- Baneblade health reduced to 6500 **NEW**
- Gave Baneblade cannon a new explosion effect **NEW**
- Kasrkin sergeant soilder now a Guardsmen sergeant **NEW**
- Baneblade name changed **NEW**
- Leman Russ cap set to 4 **NEW**
- Squad Cap set to 25 **NEW**
- Support Cap set to 25 **NEW**
- Ogryn and Kasrkin Limit of 3 **NEW**


***Necrons***

- Only one necron warrior spawns, but has the potential total of adding 30
- Necron Warrior Squad cap set to 7 **NEW**
- Necron Warrior Squad reinforcement rate set to 15 seconds **NEW**
- Starting resources in a normal game increased a bit
- Necron warrior health reduced just a bit
- Squad cap set to 30 **NEW**
- Support cap set to 25 **NEW**
- New unit "Crypt Guardians" **NEW**
- Crypt Guardian cap set to 2 **NEW**
- Crypt Guardians are now AI compatable **NEW**
- Maximum number of active monoliths increased to 2 **NEW**


***Tau***

- Total Firewarrior squad reduced back to 5 **NEW**
- Total Crisis Suit to a squad: 2
- Total Broadside Battlesuit to a squad: 2
- New squad "Shasui Fire Warrior Squad" **NEW**
- Shasui Fire Warrior Squad support leader is now a Pathfinder **NEW**
- You can now have both the Montka and Kauyon Shrines **NEW**
- Squad Cap set to 25 **NEW**
- Support Cap set to 25 **NEW**
- Hammerhead Gunship cap set to 4 **NEW**


***Space Marines***

- Grey Knights squad max increase to 9
- Grey Knights cap set to 2 **NEW**
- New Unit "The Emperor" **NEW**
- The Emperor is now AI compatable **NEW**
- Squad Cap set to 25 **NEW**

- Predator cap set to 4 **NEW**
- Terminator cap set to 3 **NEW**

- Furious charge research gives Chaos Space Marines a slight buff in melee **NEW**
- Predator cap set to 4 **NEW**
- Squad cap set to 25 **NEW**
- Support cap set to 25 **NEW
- New unit: Beam of Corruption **NEW**
- Added "Advanced Build" menu (For BoC) **NEW**

***Eldar***

- Fire Prism cap set to 4 **NEW**
- Squad cap set to 25 **NEW**
- Support cap set to 25 **NEW**
- New unit: Railgun **NEW**
- Railgun is AI compatable


***Orks***
- Looted tank cap set to 4 **NEW**
- Can now build walls **NEW**

i love this mod better than the last version i thought that can you make a costomize the space marines to give them back there green eyes and when you go on blood ravens they also have there gold angle part of there chest but still GOOD MOD!

1 more thing the railgun unit on the edar is a imp Deavastator but it has got a super extended range

@#3 Do you have Dark Crusade 1.2?

@#4 Yea well, I couldn't really find a suitable model...and a railgun is meant for super range, but check the reload time...its like 20 sec. So you have alot of time to counter it. Anyway Im gonna play around with the object editor

I have NO NEW MODELS to play around with, so I had to use my imagination. Now Im not that familiar with the codex, but the chaplains face reminds me of a necron...so I thought it would fit him best. I took away his voice just to make it fit in a bit, and took away his range.
