Scout Sergeants - File Description  


Description:
This is a Scout Sergeant Mod for Dawn of War 1.40/1.41. I continued on the original mod by [FtUC]Vertigo. It allows a sergeant upgrade with morale boost, rally ability, infiltration and plasma rifle upgrade. As this allows for a 4 man squad of scouts with leader this slightly unbalances the game.

Version 1.0

Description:
This is a Scout Sergeant Mod for Dawn of War 1.40/1.41. I continued on the original mod by [FtUC]Vertigo. It allows a
sergeant upgrade with morale boost, rally ability, infiltration and plasma rifle upgrade. As this allows for a 4 man squad
of scouts with leader this slightly unbalances the game.

Includes:
Insomniax Scout Texture by LedMirage for the Scout Sergeant to differentiate skins.

Installation:
Extract files to Dawn of War folder.
Start mod from game manager.
Go forth and serve the Emporer !

Posts: 38 		Or rather, maybe the Sergeant should have a Power fist/weapon, since that's what he has in the the tabletop...

Posts: 1087 		bolt pistol and chainsword (what the old metal mini had) and it's just like the other sgts. upgrades to plasma pistol and power sword, but no fist coz that would look stupid i think. and be insanely unbalanced.

Posts: 29 		i had a mod i was working on for SM(dead now) with a marine trooper as upgrade at tier2, it gave them the frag grenades ability. worked well, only slightly unbalanced as at tier2 scouts are victims anyway.

Posts: 123 		Tell you what in the next expantion pack they souhld have a scout sargent with a chain sorwd and a bolp pistol and also give the squad a rocket launcher and wepons like that thats now legal in the new codex space marines. i think every one would agree to that then scouts will be more usfull!!!!!! big grin

they costs 1 per squad and 4 snipers that can kill in one shot each not to mention they infiltrate.
i will be damned if that doesn't scream pwned

Posts: 55 		I don't want to ativate it in the mod manager to make only a scout sergeant, why you can make it work without the mod manager please
