Description:
Both maps are considerably lacking in decals, but overall, the map is very good. The actual gameplay of the map looks like it could be both strategic and fun.

Readme File:
Lo there, I am uploading 2 maps this time, one an updated one from peple suggestions, & the other a sort of WWI style one. Sadly there are STILL no minimaps as although I've followed the instructions perfectly they won't show up. Meh.



Desert Choke

Some Info:
Players: 8 (4 vs 4)
Strategic Points: 16 (8 on each side)
Relics: 8 (1 per player)
Critical Locations: 1
Slag Deposits: 8 (4 on each side)

Some More Info:
My first map revolves around the almighty chokepoint connecting the two areas of the map, which is filled with negative cover, also containing the one & only Critical location in the center. For those of you who are wondering why you can't teleport/jump onto the walls either side of the chokepoint, it's because I don't want the map to become unbalanced (for example, Eldar would become next to impossible to beat with Imperial Guard), so everything has to go throught the chokepoint.

Changes:
I have added a few decals, littered the chokepint with bodies & made an elevated shooting point either side of the chokepoint (thanks for the recommendations everybody) & the minimap is actually CORRECT now.

My second map is based rather loosely off trench warfare in World War I. Each side has very little building space, to get you to use only the most basic troops & limit your power resource (unless you're Necrons). Also you may notice there are no strategic points, this is again to limit your resources. No Mans Land, covering about half of the map, is completely smothered in negative cover apart from the craters, which provide heavy cover. If you do become desparate for space, you could just build another HQ in No Mans Land, but most races should be OK. Each side has only 2, small entrances, just large enough to fit some of the smaller tanks through (Rhinos, etc.).



Installation:
Extract the contents of the zip to:
C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War - Dark Crusade\DXP2\Data\Scenarios\MP
If you don't have the Scenarios or MP folders, make them.

Yay! 8 player map! Rock Looks great for 4v4, but a bit plain... some trees or a crashed thunderhawk would have been a nice touch, but still i give it a 8/10

stalemate would be good especialy when you go like they did say in World War I "over the top!" in to no mans land and on choke pont it will be funny just to have thing like heavy wepon teams blokeing one end of the choke pont.
