Long time no see guys.

So the Tyranid Mod is back with a new beta for you all. It's Soulstorm-only (sorry all your DCers, they're just too different for us to maintain versions for each game), includes a slew of rebalancing, a (broken, we know) test version of the new Influence resource (we have a better version on the way), a new mini-mod (Tyranid Mod: Great Devourer Mode) so you can play Tyranids without any population caps or unit hard caps, and we've even made it easier for you to access the Tyranid AI control panel so you can tweak the AI to be harder or easier at your whim.

Even better - we've already completed the major components of 0.5b2 as well, so expect to see a new version of 0.5 coming out in the next few months.

Oh, and one last thing, which I cannot stress enough:

UNINSTALL 0.45SS BEFORE INSTALLING 0.5B1

Failing to do so will prevent you from being able to use multiplayer properly with other people who have the mod and may also cause other errors we can't anticipate.

Posts: 1 		This isn't helpful at all when there is no download link, and when i google it i still can't find a download link, and the bugfix is just some retarded script, not a file for me to download

Posts: 127 		It's hosted here on dawnofwar.filefront.com. At the time the article was submitted the file had just been submitted, so the link was not available for me to provide and the guys at Filefront didn't put it into the article.

However, it is listed in the Latest Files on the main page:
http://dawnofwar.filefront.com/file/05b1_for_Soulstorm;120308

And the bugfix is a new Tyranids.module file. Save it as such to your Soulstorm directory.

Posts: 127 		And if you're having trouble saving the module file, I suggest right-clicking the link in the bugfix article and selecting "Save As".
