They are allready in fully animated with fx. Guess they never got posted here, When all the aspects are done I'll put up a news item showing every aspect from the game including our new fire dragons. The only aspect we don't have is Shining Spears but I have no intention of making them.
"they look a bit too chubby, not eldar slim-like"
Did you click on the pictures themselves... If not then it seems the thumbnails have been squished making them look chubby. If when you look at the proper pictures you still think they are too chubby... well they are thinner than the guardians actually so I guess wait til you see them in game and let me know what you think then . |

If I'm wrong *Shrugs* Ignore me.
If instead you wanted it to be more custom.... Better for you. |
Brother_asmodai Joined: December 22nd, 2005 Posts: 111 | I've watched this mod for awhile with a lot of admiration, because you guys remind me a lot of the eldar. I mean all the work your doing is ultimately doomed...
new books out october. This includes the new walkers, new wraithlord, new scorpions, new dire avengers, new swooping hawks, dark reapers. Now seeing as though dark crusade is due around then, most of the models already in - wraithlord, dark reapers - will probably be remodeled.
That just leaves the question of what new unit will be added - I'd guess scorpions, which are being majorly overhauled since there recent incarnation.. I wouldnt be surprised to see the new walkers either
Keep working guys and gals. I know you probably know all this but its worth giving the heads up just in case. |

Well I don't see the new codex as a problem really, more like an opportunity. The winter assault mod is for all the eldar fans from back in Rogue Trader times through to 3rd edition. I was really seeking to make a mod that brings together all the different feels of the eldar over the last 15 odd years that I've seen them evolve. Hence the inclusion of the assassin bot and some of the older style guardians. *You'll see what I mean by that soon. + Of course that most recognisable of all eldar vehicles the war walker in it's original design.
However the new codex is again looking to breath a fresh new life into this dying race, I didn't waste the opportunity you may actually be surprised to know that it's figured in my plans from day 1. After DC is released you will see what has been going on in the background. I saved an awful lot of content for after the expansion but I didn't feel they would be done justice until after the expansion. The other advantage to this... you guys get a fully playable race mod before DC with a ton of new content in it and showing the history of the eldar over the last 15 years.
Then after DC you get to see the new vision of the Eldar as a fresh exciting new race complete with all their new equipment in it's shiny new glory. This is not a pipedream, the models allready exist, are rigged, have textures... thats all I can say right now . |

The exarch also features the grill design. Thanks for letting us know anyway doesn't hurt to point these things out. |
